Research and Strategy Development

Next, our expert financial planners spend time researching your current assets, liabilities, income, financial products and personal circumstances. We analyse which of the multitude of financial strategies and products may be applicable to your circumstances and how we can ensure we help you meet your goals. We research various alternative strategies that are available to you to help you make solid financial choices.

Creating your Financial Plan

Once we have completed our research, we compile your written financial plan for you. This is a document that outlines your current situation and paints a picture of the future you imagine for yourself and your loved ones. The document sets out a step by step plan that will support you in meeting your goals. It makes specific recommendations on which strategies will suit you and why and which financial products will help you achieve your goals, save in fees and deliver you with the best possible outcome.

Presenting your Financial Plan

During this step of the process we present your written financial plan to you and walk you through the plan in extensive detail. We allow plenty of time for you to ask questions and fully understand our recommendations. It’s quite common that our financial plan to include complex strategies. We spend a lot of time translating these complex concepts into language that you can understand. We refrain from using jargon as much as possible. Once you are comfortable with all aspects of the financial plan we proceed to the next step.

Implementing your Financial Plan

Once you have fully reviewed your financial plan and are happy to proceed to implementation, we take care of the relevant paperwork and other implementation steps for you. We may need your help with parts of the process, but are mostly able to take this cumbersome step of the process off your hands so that you can relax and get to work on achieving your goals!

Your financial adviser will provide you with a detailed update on your portfolio as well as any relevant information on legislation changes and other important updates. You will have plenty of time to ask questions. We may adjust your financial strategies or products to ensure you are still on track to achieving your goals.
